Du zeigst eine ganz besonder schöne Sorte! Herrlich, die etwas zarteren Farben und die etwas flachere Krone!
Ja, sie gehören einfach zum Frühling! Wunderbar, diese schöne Gruppe in diesem Licht!
we call them narcissus, and yet they don't seem to have an attitude problem at all: cluster appearance is apparently favored over isolated blooming – none of them minds to have an equally beautiful neighbor beside it! so i guess, vanity isn't an issue, unless, that is, what we see here is "group vanity" ; ))). great capture of my favorite kind of daffodil! the frilled insides and the very light-yellow petals – gorgeous! admirable, how you managed to bring out their velvety glow without blinding us with their brightness – the latter still being my speciality… ; ))) greetings, sabine. p.s.: interesting info to go with it. gee, how did that daffodil bulb end up in their soup, i wonder? where did the cook get it? he/she must have dug it up in their very own herb garden, i guess… daffodils right next to the onions?? kinda stupid, eh?
