: )))))) still chuckling at alfred schultz's "bins-at-the-right-height" comment! but life in booming metropolises can necessarily takes place only in stacked verticality, i guess… and the futuristic reflections are great! they make the wooden power poles vaguely resemble first-nation totem poles! ; ) actually, to me it was quite amazing to see wooden transmission poles among all those skyscrapers, so i googled them, and found some interesting stuff, namely that because of the transformers (the bins! ; )) atop of the poles, they pose a fire risk in case of earthquakes! the article (see link below) claims that vancouver is one of the few cities that still has them in its downtown area but will soon have them removed, within for years, that is. apparently you've captured a dinosaur here, adele! ; )) hugs, sabine.
