This is one of those shots where it is better to have been there than to see it in a photograph. I did a similar trek on Mt. Bolivar in Venezuela, 14,000 feet, and none of my shots did it justice. The air is thin, the pulse beat is going higher and higher with every step - but the view to the annapurnas and the promise for an hot and sweet chai is impulse enough to give all - to be the restless hiker...
I think this is an excellant shot, Hendry has caught the animals and man in the right place, it is well composed and has very good detail from front to back and is nice and sharp. I think it should be in the gallery.
