Alfred, this has to be one of my favorites of your work. The dark, despairing, urban jungle is strangely devoid of human inhabitants. The dog walks with purpose, heading into the light, which almost reassures the viewer that he will be cared for when he reaches his destination. Grafitti, textures of the brick, grout and doorway, even the aged bills posted on the walls and the crumbling window barricades give the eyes detail that is completely supportive to the environment. The diagonal of the street lets us wander right along side him. He is beautifully lit. Well done moment of opportunity!
