Malawi is situated in southeastern Africa. It borders Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique.
Malawi\'s capital and largest city is Lilongwe.rnIt has the Great Rift Valley running through the country from north to south. In this deep trough lies Lake Malawi, the third-largest lake in Africa.
The towering and imposing Mulanje-Massive rises from a plain lush with green tea plantations and represents the country\'s highest elevation point, its tallest mountain peak being Sapitwa, at a height of 3002 meters.
