I'm an Engineering Tech with a Fortune 500 company. I got into photography in high school in the mid-70's. I had my own Pentax & spent a lot of after school hours in my school's darkroom. I lost interest in photography as a serious pursuit because I felt limited by B&W & hated giving up control of my color prints to a lab.

I got back into photography when my department transitioned from Polaroid to record testing, to digital in the mid-90's. I immediately saw the possibilities. Kudus to the hardware/software engineers & technicians who developed this technology so rapidly.

I currently use a Kodak Z1275 point-&-shoot.
