...neuen Jagdgründen
Auch wenn man schon ganz früh morgens vor Ort ist, so lassen sich Graureiher und Kormorane meistens nicht vor halb Neun blicken und etwa eine Stunde später fliegen die meisten von ihnen zu anderen Jagdgründen. Bisher habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden, wohin genau sie fliegen. Das zurückbleibende Paar sitzt weiter, hoch oben in den Bäumen, auf der anderen Seite des Sees, bis sie sich irgendwann zur Jagd auf und in den See begeben.

On to ... ... new hunting grounds
Even if you arrive very early in the morning, you can not see any of the great blue heron and cormorants until about half past eight, and about an hour later most of them fly to other hunting grounds. So far, I have not figured out exactly where they fly to. The remaining couple continue to sit high up in the trees, on the other side of the lake, until at some point they go hunting and entering the lake.
