Common spindle (Euonymus europaeus)
I took this image of a common spindle (Euonymus europaeus) on the 22/10/2020 at 14:33 o'clock in the floodplain of the river "Mulde" in the East of the city "Dessau". Dessau (or Dessau-Roßlau) is the third largest city of the federal state "Saxony-Anhalt" in the eastern part of Germany.
The floodplain - called "Muldeaue" - is a nature reserve. The river Mulde is a left tributary of the Elbe and is 124 kilometres long. The junction of Mulde and Elbe is about 10km in the north of the spot of the photos.
I used an aperture 5.6 to have a decent depth-of-field. But the background is not so soft - the second version uses an aperture of 3.5:
I used a Canon EOS 77D with the EF-S 17-55mm lens. The image is resized and got a color correction of 12-254. I didn't edit it further yet. (7526)
