Ein schönes Kloster ausserhalb der Mauern Lissabons, dass einen Besuch wert ist, vor allem wegen der schönen Aussichten auf Lissabon vom Dach des Klosters, aber auch wegen des Klosterganges, sowie der Kacheln des XVIII JH. Ausserdem kann man das Refektorium besuchen, in dem die Steinsarkophage der Dynastie des João IV, inklusive das des letzten portugiesischen Königs, Pedro IV. Bemerkenswert ist auch die Statue vor den Sarkophagen von Carlos I und seinem Sohn Luis Felipe, die in der 1. Hälfte des XX. JH auf der Praça do Comercio ermordet wurden.

Beautiful monastry outside of the LIsbon city walls. It is worth a visit, especially because of the views from the rooftop, but also because of the cloister and the 18th century tiles. In the refectory you can also see the stone sarcophagi of the João IV dinasty, including the one of the last Portuguese king, Pedro IV. Have a close look on the statue in front of the sarcophagi of Carlos I and his son Luis Felipe, who were murdered in the first half of the 20th century on the Praça do Comercio.
