Praying and sacrifice in Hinduism

Why are there so many sacrifices to the demons or evil forces? Does this have to do with the problem that the deceased receive a ritual burial very late or even never after their death and people are afraid of the souls that have not yet found peace? Or do these offerings serve a greater purpose, namely maintaining a cosmic balance between good and evil in the Balinese world? What role does the concept of purity or impurity play and what is the special role of water in ritual purification?
Ballinese Hinduism has been preserved, without any changes, for more than a thousand years due to the isolated nature of the island.

The people in Bali believe in the higher single deity Tinto, which has many incarnations of Vishnu, of Brahma, of Ganesharahma known simple as Ganesh, of Hanuman or of Shiva known as "The Destroyer" within the gods in Hinduism.
