Simple housing near Firuzabad
Along the highway 65 Kavar-Firuzabad Rd. we passed simple villages like this at Murdestan area.
The houses built by bricks aren't safe in case of earthquakes.
The tremendous loss of life that resulted in the aftermath of recent earthquakes in developing countries is mostly due to the collapse of non-engineered building structures. It has been observed that these buildings cannot withstand the lateral loads imposed by an earthquake and often fails, in a brittle manner.

Genau diese Art von Häusern habe ich immer vor Augen wenn ich nach Erdbeben von 100.000 zerstörten Häusern lese.Das ist aber in der erdbebenreichen chinesischen Provinz Sichuan gar nicht anders.
