South River Summer - No.2

A landing on a quiet cove on the South River, not far from Annapolis, Maryland.
Typical scene in this tranquil Chesapeake region.

Same spot as its companion, just different viewpoint and light.

The scene was captured on Fujicolor NPF film in a Canon EOS-1000FN, through a Tamron 28-200 mm lens.

As I was shooting on this photo-perfect July afternoon, as often happens, the old "Gray Matter Gramophone" was at work. The tune - Eddie Heywood's classic "Soft Summer Breeze." As I edited the image and took note of the breeze wafting about the flag, it just seemed even more fitting to share the music along with the photograph. While I am of a certain age and can thus remember the tune in its vinyl incarnation as a Mercury 45, my recording happens to be on CD. But...as this happens to be an "analog" (film) image, it just seemed right - with thanks to "MaynardCat" on You Tube - to let it play on one of B&O's elegant turntables.
