The Courtyard of the Achilleion
sculptures of Greek Gods and Godesses ...
the column in the foreground is crooked - absolutely impossible for me to straighten out without deforming everything else :-)))

they seem almost alive! what a communicative constellation and scene! the seeming interaction between the gods and goddesses – fascinating! beautifully composed and "animated", adele! about that lady in the foreground: could she be a muse? erato maybe? well, anyway: she may just have been striking wrong chords on her lyre once too often, hence the crooked column! wrong chords, especially if hit repeatedly over a long period of time can make the stablest plaster crumble… ; )) hugs, sabine.Mark Billiau. 26/04/2015 9:35
Well composed capture of this striking courtyard !!Mark
