It is a super-wide-angle lens (Samyang 8mm for Sony Nex). The APS-C format. So, you can easily gain depth.
Thank you for your visit and Thank you for your comment,Mr.archiek!
Hi archiek, may thanks for your comment, I think the play of light is just the greatest fascination, so often surprising and always fascinating, all the best to you, cathy
Thanks for your comment, Archie! To me they all looked odd, the cloths, the lips of the woman in blue... that's why I made the picture... :-). Greetings, Sabine
Thank you Arhiek,
Yes, a classic picture of a beatiful hotel and restaurant. We really enjoyed.
And the picture in Savannah was a beatiful courtyard that I found walking around, nice city also.
Dear Archiek,
I see that you grew up in Colorado. My next year I spend in Colorado and now I would ask if you had an nice photo from Colorado for me.
Best wishes

greetings Archie - and thank you very much for your unexpected comment for my "South America" cave shot .... indeed fascinating to be inside - and in our areas here anemones and starfish on the walls and those interesting shapes looking out .... hard to photograph though :-)))
wish you a great remaining Sunday,
Adele
Hi Archie, many thanks. The sad aspect is that we have quite a few uranium mines in the vicinity, a little further up is Husab, second richest deposit of the world owned by the Chinese, then there is Rossing (Rio Tinto), Laanger Heinrich and the French and a host of others . This one is a very low grade ore that is why they have to remove all the mountains and hills, there should have been a cut off point somewhere especially seeing that it is in a national park (but so is Husab), we have so many uranium mines, some of them dormant because of the low uranium price at the moment. That is really the only thing that could save this one or that there could be a glut of uranium. Wish you a good week, best regards, cathy
Hi Archie, this reminded me of the famous novel by J. Cary: "the Horse's Mouth", if you have time please read it. thanks for your upbeat commentary........ best from Canada janos
Thanks for your comments, Archie! If you have never been to Venice, you should got there. It is nice when you stay in one of the quarters (p.e. Dorsoduro) which is not so overcrowded with tourists. Have a nice day, Sabine
