Gyroscope = A Mexican Toy = Trompo (Spanish)

Originally "el Trompo" was made of wood, but now it is made of plastic stuff, and it´s still very popular in Mexico

The Gyroscope, as a principle, is used in ships and aircrafts, as a toy it has the same "effect" of a wheel´s bicycle in this example:

In the photos below the Trompo (Gyroscope) has various leds in it and, kind of curious, the Trompo was made in China not in Mexico
