It was a lucky moment, there was two lights, one, the main of the bathroom and one of the mirror. Then, in PS, a graduate filter of about -1 stop (or something less) on the right.
Hallo Dr.

If you look at other pictures from the series, the main point is the girls look. She says "I'm really sorry. I absolutely don't understand what I have done. I destroyed something important unintentionally. I really didnt want to hurt anybody. So sorry that I killed." But her own wounds leave the question open, who is the wounded person after all.
Yeees! Looking now to the entire series your interpretation is more clear. Something in the model expression brings me to think to a such of unexpected satisfaction in her. It's something of unexplicable in her eyes.
Hey, just to understand us, nothing to say to the beauty of the photograph and the originality of the theme! It's just to talk ABOUT photography; 'cause I'm little bit bored to the simply "great" or "fantastic" or whatever "ASCII-type" compliment. A community of photographers must to go deeper inside the photos.
you're right, Italian anarchist poet! Perfect definition. De Andrè is one of the few italian '900 persons for what I'm proud to came from Italy.
I understand your point of view, I never expected you to listen all De Andrè discography! :)
But I'm sure, in few years, when the right wind will blow over our country, we will study at schools. I will proud to go more in deep about this artist in order to help you to understand how he was important for the 70'-80' italian left out-parliamentary movements.
As well, if you want to listen a "De Andrè-like" native-english singer you can listen Leonhard Coen works.
As well, re-landing on your photo: yes, I read in it something of that... the subject expretion drives me to think about a desire to grap, posses, the heart and not to desperatly donate it. It seems not to be such of "last Christmas I give you my heart..." it seems more "bring me your mother's heart for my dogs"! :)
The soft underexposing gives to the photo the right drama and pathos... I like, even if I often not use it in studio photos.
Sorry for my foolish songs to photos associations!! But, my mind goes faster than my logic sometimes.
Hallo Dr. Phallabude,
:-) Freut mich, dass Dich meine Räupchen erheitern konnten! *g*
So what!
Ich wünsche Dir einen zauberhaften Sonntagabend!!

Little too far? Ja,ja aber so ist Berlin. :)
( Unfortunately I have never been. The closest I got to your city was Frankfurt am Main, but my parents
have been there many times in the 1930-s). Thanks for your answer. Janos
Thank you, sir for the explanation and giving away your secret. I must admit I spent a bit of time thinking how you've achieved that splendid result.
Seriously though, I realize that you are a purist, a true photographer and detest cheap tricks like Photoshop. To achieve what you achieved must have taken a lot of time and effort and the results show this.
I do not, not for a moment think that I am an accomplished photographer, in the technical sense at least. You are far better than I'll ever be, besides I haven't that much time being already past 75.
Once again, many thanks for looking at my work and giving very constructive comments. I value your advice.
Hoping for a continued cooperation. Sincerely, Janos
