Hi Hans and thanks very much for your attention and enthusiastic comments. Yes you have guessed right, that photo as many others in my gallery especially landscapes, came from a Velvia 50 positive film 120(6x4,5) which I consider as the best film slide I ever used. The medium format(Mamiya 645 AFD) offers excellent field. Then I scanned it (NIKON COOLSCAN 9000 film scanner) and I converted it with Photoshop CS6. Mamiya 645 is an excellent camera but....extremely heavy so recently I'm only using it on occasions. I've settled to NIKON FD 700 and 800. Thanks again for your attention and interest, I also enjoy your shots.

Thanks for your comment on "Lunch Break". But I thought that the harsh reflection of "mezzogiorno sun" from the paper created a lovely soft and lingering play of light in the face of the reader. I did not want to change that cause the contrast of such hard and soft light created a special atmosphere - for my liking. Technically perhaps, you might be right.
Thanks very much, Hans. I appreciate your opinion especially as it comes from a very good photographer. I'm glad Mamiya 645 has also passed from your hands..

They would never have made it in time to the wedding party if they tried it your way - but the photos would have been even better.Jost

Your criticism is all right. But on the other hand I would have lost the first mirror.Regards, Jost
