Hi Dominic,
Thanks for the tip on how to use the polarizing filter. I appreciate it. Yes, I did turn it around, but I noticed when I got home that some images had a very deep blue sky colour in one of the upper corners and nowhere else. It just didn't look natural. I guess you just have to practice, and stay conscious of what you're doing.
Take care, Marit
Hi Dominic
Thanks for your comment on my pic. Yes it was taken last year. I have not had chance to take any for a while so was looking through some old ones. Decided to put this one up. Not had any real autumn days yet to get some good photos. I will try again this weekend!
Carmen
Thankyou for your comment Dominic. The camera I used is not very sophisticated, but I agree with your point. I hoipe to get a much better camera sonn. Nice to hear from You.
Hi Dominic, Thanks for your comments re the sunset in Yorkshire photos, yep, you are right re the longer exposure, my problem was no tripod, no time and a fast dissapearing sun, it was almost a candid shot, however thanks for the comment.
Hi Dominic, thanks for you kind words on "Buddies" the owl is an Eagle owl and very impressive he was standing next to it the sort of thing you would say "yes sir" too, when he gave that glare.
Thanks for the nice comment on my B&W castle. This was one of my first attempts at finding an image suited for B&W conversion, so that meant a lot.
You have some really nice landscapes and I also like the village/cottage captures. I think my favourite is Clergy house. Something about the light and the peaceful autumn mood.
Regards, Marit
