No they are not lessons at all, just my thoughts, personal inputs, ideas, not lessons! Sounds like a great pressure and might be negative sometimes to some people's own feelings toward this hobby if my little ideas were lessons; besides I take very few pics during the previous five months and forgot quite a lot actually.

From 16 bit to 8 bit that would be a significant reduction particularly to its original color performance, normally no such request would happen whilst converting raw to jpg, guess which might possibly has something to do with the cloning. Compared to your former works it's rather more blurred et unsharp possibly resulting from the changed file format you which mentioned.
I hope my little idea helps and expect to see more photos from you later on.
