Michael,
I was near Flag Pond today. I went Beauty Spot just above Erwin. I'm sure you know where it is. I gave myself a new camera for Christmas. I had been waiting for a good and affordable digital SLR and had been using a Nikon 8700. I bought a Nikon D80. I love it. Please check out my pix and you will see one taken today with the new glass. Much better than the 8700 in detail, control etc. I'm the one who is long winded. And by the way, I envy your trip--no snow here yet this year either.
