Hy Bruce,
thank you for your commentary on (about?) my picture -
and welcome her to the FC!
The story how you began to photograph people amuses me, I can imagine this. That could have been
happened to me...
For me the best way to photograph children ist without
posing - they should not recognise it. (Perhaps the
reason for this is that i have only two boys...)
I also like things that move fast and most of all
I like to move fast myself. (At first on motorcycles
and now on bikes without motor)
With the interest for fast moving things and photographing people you could do it like me
and photograph at mountainbike races.
I don't know the situation in Canada but here the
races are not so big and professional and you can
go very near. And you can see the faces because
the helmets don't cover them.....
I hope you enjoy the Fc

Good to see you found this place, where professionals, amateurs and rookies meet to share their views of photography, show and discuss each others work.
I hope you'll find the things you were looking for when you joined and have the same fun I have since I became a member.
Don't hesitate to ask me or any other member of the team if you have any questions!
You might also want to gather some information in our online-help. There you can learn about the different features of fotocommunity.

When I thought about making it easier for new members to join our community, I had the idea to write a short tutorial which might help. You can find it here:
