Interesting that you mention the light. Whereas I usually use variations of "Rembrandt"-lighting, I used "Clamshell" resp. "Hollywood" in this setting (which gives an interesting effect when used in half-profile). I'll definitely try this more often.

I am pleased you liked the stairwell. It is not my type of photography, It caught my eye because it is in a hospital where the elevator is the main way of travel for reasons we all understand. I expected to see the old boxy well. This is an art form in steel and glass.
