My photography work isn't just a business transaction to us. I do this because I
couldn't imagine doing anything else, and as much as it's important for me to
get to know people, I feel it's just as important for people to get to know me.
My passion is all about wedding photography, I believe that wedding photography
should be about telling stories - big, small and anywhere between. Through our
pictures I want to tell the story of something much bigger than a couple's
wedding day - we want to tell the story of them.
My distinct style of wedding photography mixes both photojournalism and fine-art
photography. On the wedding day I want to be both - a reporter and an artist,
whose goal is to artistically capture all intimate moments as they unfold. Great
wedding photography for me is when the unobtrusiveness of documentary
photography combines with the challenge of creating art.
All professional photographers will capture the "SHOT LIST" of required photos,
but the photographer who can capture the in between moments and knows when to
expect and anticipate them is the pro a couple want. Photographs are more than
just pictures taken they are documented memories of tears, love and unscripted
joy. To me, the wedding day isn??t just the bride or the groom perfectly
posed....... it's about the moments they are having with all the people around
them that they love. It's the look on your father's face when he sees her
daughter the first time as a bride. It's about the tears when the maid of honour
says her speech and every time they see these images of them will remember the
kind words
