1974 Rize doğumlu. İlk,orta ve lise eğitimini Rize de tamamladı. Torna tesviye bölümünden mezun oldu.1987 Rize Hamidiye de başladığı futbol hayatına 13 yıl boyunca amatör ve profesyonel olarak çeşitli şehir kulüplerinde devam etti.
1998 yılında yerleşmeye kadar verdiği İstanbul'da özel sektörde bir firmada çalışmakta olan Ömür Erdoğan Sakarya Üniversitesi Mekatronik bölümünde eğitimine devam etmektedir.
2002 yılında beri amatör olarak fotoğraf çekmektedir. ÇOCUKLAR ÇİÇEKTİR adlı kişisel sergisinin yanı sıra, fotoğrafları çeşitli karma sergilerde de yer almıştır. Halen çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
Lise yıllarında amatörce yazmaya başladığı şiirlerini 2006 yılında Elçi yayınları tarafından basılan YELKOVAN KUŞU; adlı kitabın da topladı. İkinci kitabının hazırlıkları devam etmektedir.
