Ab und an - meist im Winter - kommt die 78 468 der Eisenbahn-Tradition e.V. aus Lengerich vorbei. Hier ist sie am 21.01.2023 mit offenem Regler auf dem Weg nach Winterberg und kommt hier an alten Brücke zum ehemaligen Rangierbahnhof Schwerte-Geisecke vorbei.
Ihr Weg von Münster bis hier her hat sich dabei schon ganz nah an Ihrer ehemaligen Heimat in Hagen-Eckesey vorbei geführt. Durch die Dampfschwaden sieht man nicht, dass hinten am Zug noch eine V100 angekuppelt ist, um beim Anstieg nach Winterberg ein wenig anzuschieben.

From time to time, engine 78 468 passes nearby. Here, it pulls its train to Winterberg in the Sauerland mountain range. Here, it passes the old brigde as the last remains of the old switching yard of Schwerte-Ergste. Although you cannot see it here, a historic V100 diesel engine is sitting at the end of the train to help push it up the last steep miles up to Winterberg.
