A Coracle
For nature I was inspired by this simple scene. I went back in my life and thought about Drudgery and the tales you learn then read bout at the Oxford Library In England. It all is wild, but a few people have asked the same things and documented a try and what Brendan was said to have done from the oral tradition to paper by fellow monks.
In the sixth century, Ireland’s St. Brendan embarked on a legendary voyage that some believe took him to North America nearly 500 years before the Vikings and 1,000 years before Christopher Columbus. Is there any truth in the theory or is it just a bunch of blarney?

Mi piace questa luce che si riflette sull'acqua e il piccolo guscio che potrebbe salpare.+++

Très beau n&b mais un petit détail je n'aurais pas centré cette barque ;)) AmitiésAdele D. Oliver 15/05/2015 0:44
a small boat against the big sea and looming clouds overhead ... adramatic scene and story for the imagination - great into the contra-light shooting (and a perfect horizon ).cheers, Adele

I really like it!!!!!!!!!!Berthold Klammer 14/05/2015 17:22
A row boat on the shore.... 3 elements are combined: the cloudy sky,the sea with its waves, and the boat placed in the center of the image.
2 elements are of natural source and the third, the boat is man made.
I think that this composition can find its tension in the combination
of these 3 subjects. Something in the shot gives me a touch of relaxation...
well done Glenn - regards Berthold

There is a lot of evidence of European visitors to N. America prior to Columbus. Excellent photo that hints at a story.Regards,
