A Gondola Shipyard (squero) in Venice
In a small alleyway of Venice there is a small shipyard where the black beauties are still made by handicraft.
Prepared to glide silently through the chanels of Venice.
Most romantic in the silvery light of the moon.

es ist immer wieder spannend und schöndie kleine traditionswerft
vom gegenüber liegenden kanalufer
zu beobachten - vor allem natürlich im sommer,
wenn die gondelbauer im freien arbeiten :-))

A most atmospheric capture of this old world craft. I love how the smooth, graceful forms of the gondolas are complimented by the rough-hewn textures of the buildings. The black and white presentation works very well.Compliments!
