Corvatsch
The view from Corvatsch, at an altitude of 10,837 feet (3,303 meters) in the Bernina Range of the
Upper Engadin region in Switzerland's Canton Graubünden, on a perfect autumn afternoon.
The photo was made on Agfa Pan 25 film in a Nikon FM through
a Tamron 28-200mm lens using both red and polarizing filters.
It is available in archival gallery prints and as a custom printed Photo Note Card.

wow, all those different shapes and textures, the beautiful light- and shadowplay!! a great motif for a majestic-mountains monochrome – sorry, couldn't resist the alliteration…; )) but what i like best is the juxtaposition of ruggedness of the "rocky" mountains with smoothness of the snow in the foreground, and how everything just seems to be moving inexorably downhill, as though running into a maelstrom! greetings, sabine.viola d 24/05/2011 19:59
