Cottonfields,,
Delta of river Evros. (North-East Greece at the borders of Turkie).
The river Evros, according the Treaty of Lausanne(1923) marks the North-East border of Greece with Turkie. It's a flat and very fertile zone, largely cultivated with the cottonfields as landmark.

So what happen to the cotton pickers.Sue Thompson 13/11/2013 8:39
Cotton for as far as the eye can see.......cotton clothes, cotton sheets......anything that can be made from this natural plant........so much nicer to use and wear than the synthetic stuff of today.Great shot especially with that flock of birds.
