Daffodils
Despite the cold bad weather of the last few weeks with an abundance of rain and hail, I spotted the first daffodils yesterday in the wild this year
This well known flower looks beautiful and attractive but it contains poison, mostly in the bulb but also in the leaves.
Dutch name : Narcis
German name : Narzisse
Latin name : Narcissus

In fact, despite the cold weather of the last days with so much of rain, you have spotted the first daffodils yesterday very well. It is really fascinating that they can be weighed down by snow as today and yet as it melts they stand up again.A superb and well composed picture.
