Last year I DIY'ed in my house, smoothing the plastered ceiling with sandpaper. The soft light that entered the room through a small window inspired me to experiment with portraiture. Still completely covered with plaster I decided to get my camera out on a tripod, pose myself and take a picture.
BTW: my daughter's bedroom has become a cosy place...

    This picture is EXCELLENT;
    it has something of Lucian Freud's atmosphere...
    Very powerful. Almost a 'menace' feeling, i love that.
    It's the kind of artwork i'd love to have in huge size on my wall.
    I like it very much.

    pretty good light, somewhat soft for the portrait but looks very well.
    Looks like you did very much for decroating your house, I believe it must be very cosy and comfortable. :)
