i agree with adele on the soupçon of surrealism! those headless mannequins! plus, i see an anthropomorphic house, vaguely gothic – munch-ish even! – with wild (upper-story) window eyes and a screaming (storefront) mouth… could this be le legendary "dernier cri"? ; )) in any case it's a house and place that could very qualitfy to become norman bates's venetian summer domicile or rather – oo ahhh! – hideout! ; ) – – beautifully composed and very atmospherical, alexander! greetings, sabine.
Great shot. I like it much better than the coloured one you presented previous to this. I love the serene and quiet atmosphere of the shot and indeed it has some kind of surreal touch to it.
A tiny criticism - the wall and the balcony on the left side of the picture are protruding either too much or not enough. But I suppose you made the best of the given situation.
