In Hinduism, Hanuman is not considered an asura or demon, but rather a divine being with special powers. He is worshipped as a symbol of strength, bravery, and devotion.
Nearly in front of every temple emntrance an Hanuman figure is placed for protecting bad influence into the into the temples area.
Mostly there are numerous statues to celebrate or temples to worship Hanuman all over the Balinese istland.

    Eine schöne Statue des Hanuman.
    Was ist das für eine braune Fläche da hinter seiner Krone ? Sieht aus als hätte der Fotograf da jemanden unkenntlich gemacht. Grauhätte da allerdings in diesem Umfeld besser gepasst.

      nein, diese braune Fläche ist eine Wandfliese, die sich hinter der Statue befindet.  Aber ich hätte sie wohl besser wegradieren sollen, Gruß Wolfgang
