Haus der Steine – Genau das bedeutet der Name des Landes Simbabwe in der Übersetzung. Auch wenn es hier kein Wildlife gibt, ein Besuch der Great Zimbabwe Ruins lohnt sich. Es ist die wichtigste archäologische Fundstelle Afrikas nach den ägyptischen Pymamiden. Die Blütezeit dieses Palastes und der umliegenden Gebäude lag so um 1100-1500.

Houses of Stone – That's what the name ZImbabwe means. Even though there's no wildlife here, the Great Zimbabwe Ruins are worth visiting. It's the most important archeological site in Africa after the pyramids of Giza. The heyday of the palace and the surrounding buildings was from 1100-1500.
