Inside the Orangutan Sanctuary

Just a few kilometers far from the maincity Balikpapan there is the sanctuary where urangutans are trained to restay in the nature jungle. Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Rehabilitation and Reintroduction Center founded by the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS) in the year 1999.
My photo an orangutan mother with its baby in the middle of the jungle. Coming closer wasn't permited because they should wean themselves from human habits in order eventually to adapt to the natural conditions.
