Jewish circumcision (Brith) - The father Esti Eini
I agree this "Circumcision" thing is barbaric and done in the name of a faith.. been from Ireland I have found that religion has been a very devisive issue and has been the cause of a lot of hardship and heartbreak in My Country.
Yes, you are all very right. One might think that in our modern times people would stop unnecessary sufferings in the name of religion, but it is still going on in many places.
Along the history it has always been like this, and it is still it:
The greatest aberrations against a human being have always been committed for religious motives.
ouch - i suppose i ought to have looked at this picture first before posting my question underneath the "circumcision - the mother " photo. Obviously the child has not had anaesthesia. Poor little one, having to endure all that. I have all the respect for anybodies religion, but this is just soemthing that i can't agree with. As Helga posted - a very happy father, but does anyone know how that poor baby must have felt??
I can only imagine how excruciating that pain must have been.
Petra.
