Oh, yes, Sabine) I see also there... "Giraffa camelopardalis..." :)
There's other funny story about Giraffe's origin. Scientists have taken one cow, one snake, an adhesive tape and have made a giraffe. :)

: ))))) love the curious look!! so funny, how he's reaching diagonally into the picture – he must have a great sense of photographic composition! cute pout, too! greetings, sabine. p.s.: i just googled the "giraffe" and found out that in earlier times it was called "camelopard" because scientist took the species for a cross between a camel and a leopard – boy, were they clueless! ; ))
