Ladakh, Gebetsfahnen
In Buddhism prayer flags are hung by believers in special places that are accessible to the wind. There they are left hanging until they are completely dissolved, so that the prayers can reach their destination.
Im Buddhismus werden Gebetsfahnen von den Gläubigen an besondere Orte aufgehängt, die dem Wind zugänglich sind. Dort lässt man sie bis zur völligen Auflösung hängen, damit die Gebete zu ihrem Bestimmungsort gelangen können.
