Lost, but not Forgotten..
Maleme, Crete.
Over 4000 German soldiers are laid to rest here. Some of those who were killed could not be properly identified. Their names are inscribed on walls such as this one.
While physical remains may be lost, their names are not forgotten.

Nice picture! I already read the book "Crete" by Antony Beevor. The autor wrote about the Germany invasion of Crete. Your picture show me the cemetery wich was mentioned in the book.Congratulations from Brazil.
