Vessa is a medieval site on the island of Chios with very distinct characteristics. Amazing how well current locals accomodated themselves in the old habitat restauring it, adding new extentions and carrying out nicely their daily commitments..

I think that such places were built to last, and last they have. With some TLC and a little ingeuity they look to have made some perfecty good homes.Another excellent picture and I love the donkey.
