Mt. Taranaki, NZ
After days of waiting to catch a glimpse, frequently clouded Mt Taranaki / Mt Egmont (2518m) finally peeked out. Taken from the lookout at Lake Mangamahoe.
If this mountain looks kind of Japanese to you, you're half right: it was used as a stand-in for Mount Fuji in "The Last Samurai".
