Old meets New - in Downtown Vancouver (4)
The beautiful old Post Office .... and beside it the golden box of the newspaper "the Province" - not exactly a nice combination .... but I liked the overall image.

at first sight the architecture of those buildings seems to clash, and you want to say "what an atrocious patchwork of old and new!" but when you look again everything seems to "fall in place", and it's in fact quite pretty – a sensation very similar to the one i sometimes have when looking at "lego cities" created by my godchild ; ))! but here i think it's you, adele, rather than the architects, who made it look great together, for you captured this mysterious golden luster in the facade of the "province building"! and there's even a "silver answer" to it in the "lonely reflection" in a window of the old post office! hugs, sabine.Werner R.
