Old meets New - in Downtown Vancouver (6)
A view from a modern glass rotunda to the old Birks Tower (a jewellery store, and I have often met people under the Birks clock).
I wish there was blue sky .... the glass and the clock have to make up for it.

It looks lovely Adele, even without the blue sky. I can imagine the clock tower is a good meeting point as it is so recognisable and probably central too.Regards
Sally

Alt und neu zu verbinden, war sicher nicht Absichtder Stadtplaner. Gut, daß Du es nachholst!

i really like that old birks tower! a beautiful shot, as always, adele! love how the blue of the clock is corresponding with the rotunda: the black hands, and "lines" (what do you call those things that mark the numbers on a clock? i don't know, not even in german…) on its blue face match the blue glass and those dividing "lines" (don't know what those are called either ; ))!) perfectly! hugs, sabine.JValentina 24/06/2010 9:06
