Onion Streaker

Hand held.
This was another of those chance shots, and was with my older cam now I look back, 640*480 res. The first joys of digital photography.
The flash does have some negative effect, but the darkness of the potting shed was worse.
They are home grown stock, but I have to admit to having taken advantage of the older generation for the growing.

    Hi Niel! you could of course use a tissue layed over the flash, might be just to reduce that glare. if you have a detached flashlite then just bounce the lite of a reflective surface. Did you grow these beautys in your garden? Very nice.

    Very nice subject. The flash however reflected from the shiny surface of the onion as well as the wooden background. I don't know other's preference but for me I would like to minimize the effect. Unusual composition though.
