Philadelphia: Convention Hall and Civic Center
Edler Marmor, geleckt sauberer Fußboden, typische 1930er-Jahre-Prunkarchitektur – das war "Philly’s Convention Center". In seiner Geschichte sah es zahlreiche kulturelle Höhepunkte und politische Auftritte. Filmisch wurde es besonders ausführlich als Location in "Twelve Monkeys" (1995, mit Bruce Willis und Brad Pitt) verewigt. So was wie Denkmalschutz ist in den USA leider nicht üblich – 2005 wurde es abgerissen.

Du bist sicher, daß es abgerissen wurde....????? Mir ist, als wäre ich letztes Jahr noch dort gewesen. Ansonsten haben sie's nachgebaut.....und auch genauso genannt.....convention center......
