Quay West Building, Salford Quays England.
Visiting my Home Town today, we went to the amazing redevelopment of the Old Docks on the Manchester Ship Canal.
Pre 1939, and for a while after Manchester was one of the major Ports in England, even though it is 20 miles inland, thanks to the Manchester Ship Canal. Not much trade goes on now, except in the amazing buildings being erected, for commerce, entertainment and Luxury Housing.
Just across from the L S Lowry Gallery, itself an amazing Building, is a new footbridge, with this Magnificent Building at the end.
Bronze Glass, which does incredible things with the light, please watch for my next post.
