Hey Rob thanks for the good words, I think that the sunlight coming through the tree canapy had something to do with it, and Hermann the town is Avignon in the south of FranceEamo

Well captured. Its unusual to see a single shaft of light like that.I've got to ask though, what do you think caused it ? The rest of the picture looks bathed in sunlight too so can't work out why this beam would be so prominent.
