Rothalstaucher III

Die Art brütet meist auf recht kleinen, flachen Gewässern mit einer gut entwickelten Ufervegetation. Der Rothalstaucher ist ein Teil- und Kurzstreckenzieher, der sich vom Spätherbst bis Frühjahr auf tieferen Seen sowie an Meeresbuchten ohne größeren Wellengang aufhält. Der Bestand des Rothalstauchers gilt als stabil bis leicht zunehmend.
