Shwdagon Pagoda at night
Its an amazing experience to visit the Shwedagon complex at different day and night times to feel the different atmosphere.
We went there at day and at night.
During the daytime it was beautiful to see the golden pagoda shining under the sun. But at the nighttime it was simply wonderful and a mystic atmosphere. The lights on the pagoda are incredibly beautiful.

Einmal vor einigen Jahren war auf einem Flug von Frankfurt nach Bangkok mit TG 921 die erleuchtete Shwedagon Pagode aus der Luft zu sehen, beeindruckend selbst aus dieser Höhe. Nur dieses eine Mal, nie wieder, vermutlich ist der Kurs geändert worden. Da ich wegen des Frühstücks die Kamera nicht griffbereit hatte gibt es leider kein Bild davon.LG, Herbert
