@Serge: Thank you for your comment and pic revision, yet, I disagree as far as color and saturation differences are concerned: My original shows topological details in the wooded background and these details almost disappear in your darker and more saturated version. Imho, slightly different hues of right and left stereo do kind of intensivate the merged-color-impression, and, carrying things to extremes, absolutely nobody would find fault with anaglyph stereo picture color differences!Thus, for the time being, I personally do prefer cross view 3Ds, some of them with differences in color and/or focus. So far my personal opinion far from proselytising dogmatism.

When there is a difference of colours between the left and right photographs there is one and that's all that there is to say. Not need to justify yourself with that "merged falls completely away" because this difference influences the general colours quality of the photograph.The stereo base was perfect.

Ja, die Wolken sind schon herrlich.Mit dem "Freischütz" hast Du sicherlich recht, soweit hat er sicher nicht gedacht. Und unsereins pirscht ahnungslos in der Botanik rum!

mit dem Farb- und Helligkeitsunterschied hast Du recht, Micha, aber fusioniert fällt das völlig weg... dem "Freischütz" muss man anmerken, dass er unverantwortlich ohne Rücksicht auf die weitere Geschossbahn abgedrückt hat, und zielscheibenmäßig allenfalls einen Zehner erreicht hat.Bei dem Motiv ging es mir um die bis hinter den Land-Horizont reichenden Wolkenunterkanten, fast schon erdkrümmungszeigend

Sehr schöne Räumlichkeit.Bei der Basis gibt es auch noch keinen
Konflikt mit dem Vordergrund.

Die Basis lässt schon tief in die Wolken blicken. Das rechte Bild ist etwas heller und ich finde auch farblich etwas unterschiedlich.Das Schild scheint auch als Zielscheibe herhalten zu müssen?
